TERMS AND CONDITIONS FROM Like Us Tours (hereafter LUT)

TOURS PROVIDED BY LUT                                                           

Full details on LUT regular tours and private tours are described in the LUT brochures and on the internet web site www.like-us-tours.com

For public and private tours, LUT reserves the right to make changes to itineraries if the route of the tour is disrupted by events beyond LUT’s control, such as failures in the public transport system; or state visits in central Munich leading to road closures; or any other unforeseeable event.

PAYMENT

Prices for tours paid in advance are binding once the purchase is complete. Tour prices not include value added tax (MehrWertSteuer) and will not be added, due to German Tax Law for small companies (§19 UStG).

The currency for all tour prices is Euro and have to be paid in Euro.

LUT reserves the right to change prices for any of its services at any time, but tickets purchased through the website prior to any changes are unaffected and remain valid. In the event that prices are lowered, there is no entitlement to a refund for the difference in price.

The client may pay by credit card, paypal, money and bank transfer when purchasing a ticket through www.like-us-tours.com but has to cover the fees by himself; or for some tours in cash on the previous day of the tour at Wombats Hostel and Easy Palace City Hostel.

For private tours, the client may pay a deposit through www.paypal.com with the balance paid in cash on the day; or in advance by bank transfer. Prices include the cost of the guide and, in the case of motorized or bus tours, all costs relating to the vehicle. Other costs, such as entry to palaces, refreshments, public transport, etc. are not included in the price.

LUT will e-mail the client, to confirm the length and type of tour, the starting place and time, and any other relevant information. When this has been confirmed by the client, the private tour contract becomes binding.

Then the client will be sent the voucher with all details of the tour and a request for payment from Paypal via e-mail.

The voucher is valid after LUT recieved the money.

CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING CONDITIONS

1.) Sightseeing and hiking TOURS:

  • these tours run in all weathers and on all public holidays, in the extremely unlikely event that a fixed scheduled tour is cancelled by LUT, a full refund is payable to the client.

 

  • up to 72 hours of the tour a cancellation fee of  50% of the tour price will be charged. if a client cannot attend a tour for any reason, we regret that it is not possible to refund the advance purchase of tour tickets by credit card through www.like-us-tours.com  for any reason.

 

  • If LUT receives notice in writing more than 72 hours ahead of a fixed scheduled tour for which tour tickets have been bought, LUT can reschedule tickets for a later tour for €10 per person additional charge.

 

2.) Sailing, rafting, climbing and canyoning TOURS:

  • these tours run in all weathers except in case of storm, rain or calm weather and on all public holidays, in the extremely unlikely event that a fixed scheduled tour is cancelled by LUT, a full refund is payable to the client.

 

  • up to 72 hours of the tour a cancellation fee of  50% of the tour price will be charged. For “short notice” cancellation of less than 72 hours, the agreed fee for the tour will be charged in full. In cases where the group is late or delayed by more than one hour, LUT reserves the right at its own discretion to cancel the tour and charge the full amount. All cancellations or changes must be confirmed in writing.

 

  • If LUT receives notice in writing more than 72 hours ahead of a fixed scheduled tour for which tour tickets have been bought, LUT can reschedule tickets for a later tour for €10 per person additional charge.

 

 

3.) Individual and private TOURS:

  • up to 72 hours of the tour a cancellation fee of  50% of the tour price will be charged. For “short notice” cancellation of less than 72 hours, the agreed fee for the tour will be charged in full. In cases where the group is late or delayed by more than one hour, LUT reserves the right at its own discretion to cancel the tour and charge the full amount. All cancellations or changes must be confirmed in writing.

 

  • For third party services booked through LUT, such as hotel reservations or taxi or coach hire and so forth, the cancellation policy of the third party service provider will apply
  • If LUT receives notice in writing more than 72 hours ahead of a fixed scheduled tour for which tour tickets have been bought, LUT can reschedule tickets for a later tour for €10 per person additional charge.

4.) Incentives:

For the cancellation of the whole group or single persons we charge:

up to 45 days of the tour a cancellation fee of  30% of the tour price

up to 44 - 30 days of the tour a cancellation fee of  50% of the tour price

up to 29 - 15 days of the tour a cancellation fee of  70% of the tour price

under 14 days of the tour a cancellation fee of  95% of the tour price

DATA PRIVACY PROTECTION

LUT would like to point out that private data that is necessary for business transactions will be processed and saved accordingly. LUT will not however pass on this data to others.

PLACE OF JURISDICTION

German laws apply. Any disputes arising hereunder will be settled before a competent German court of law.
