It is the most famous castle in the world and deservedly so.The castle of the fairytale King Ludwig II, is with his outstanding setting on-of-a-kind and worth a visit.
We drive along the most scenic part of the Romantic Road over the hills of the Bavarian Country Side along the Alps.
LIKE US TOURS connects the sightseeing tour to the castle and the guided tour inside with side trips, depending on time, concern and weather, which make the tour complete.

Program and side trips
We visit the castle and surroundings approx. 3 hrs, approx. 3 hrs for two of the side trips, which are:- Easy hike through the fairytale like Pöllat Gorge with it´s waterfalls up to the castle
- After the castle we go for a swimm in the lake where the king used to go (bring swimsuits)
- Or visit historic Füssen for lunch break in a Bavarian Inn or a snack
- On the way back we can visit Wies Kirche Church a world heritage site or do a short drive through the Austrian Alps along the side of a beautiful alpine lake
