Description
A rafting tour with a rubber boat down the river Isar is like a journey through time.The Isar has always been vital for Munich. In the past it supplied the city and nowadays is used for leisure.
Certain parts of the Isar belong to the last alpine river landscapes in Europe preserving diverse flora and fauna.
The unique natural territory is enjoyed best while floating down in a rubber boat.
Let yourself drift down from the Alps towards Munich on the trail of raftsmen...
Program
After being welcomed by the rafting guide you will head in the direction of Bad Tölz where the trip starts, while getting to know the crew.Once you have reached your destination you will receive an introduction of the safety instructions for the rubber boat. And then off we go down the river Isar!
Now it's time to watch out for obstacles and to enjoy the passing landscape.
At places of interest we will stop and tell you what shaped the landscape.
At the landing place we can stop off for a bite to eat. We will then head back to Munich...

Service: Rafting guide, equipment, transfers from/to Munich main train station in a vanDuration of the trip: 6 - 7 hours
In case of heavy rainfall or floodwater the date will be rescheduled.
Please bring rain jacket, sun protection and dry clothes for changing.
Pickup service can be arranged for an additional fee but has to be reserved beforehand!
